I know most of you out there have probably seen this film already, it won the 2007 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. I just stumbled upon it late tonight while matching socks. Never got around to matching the socks because this film had me glued to the screen every minute! (Not only because it had subtitles, but really because it was so intriguing!)If I were Uma Thurman in Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, this would get two very big thumbs up!

That is a great film. I loved it so much.
It's not on netflix! What does it mean in English - the life of something.
In English it's The Life of Others. I created a link for it if you click on "film" in the first sentence, it takes you to a review site. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO YOU MJC! It is showing on STARZ, channel 411 on our cable, again March 8th at 12:10am, maybe a friend could tape it for you? I'm shocked it is not on netflix!
I found it, it was under the English title, but our account is on hold until May so it will have to wait.
I see it's on our on-demand. I'll try and watch but won't make promises until my flu is really gone. Subtitles may be tough over constant kleenex intrusions.
